Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday (March 14) announced a one-of-a-kind event, ROAR’26, in which the franchise’s OG stars will face current players. The CSK army will assemble under one roof at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 22. AR Rahman will deliver a live performance in front of the electric crowd. CSK’s team, comprising MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube and others, will take on the likes of Suresh Raina, Murali Vijay, Matthew Hayden and others in a series of high-energy, never-seen-before match-ups. CSK made their IPL debut in 2008 and they have been part of 16 out of 19 seasons played thus far.
CSK used to be a force to reckon with and they qualified for the second round of every IPL season they played from 2008 to 2019. The Yellow Army lifted the IPL trophy in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023 under MS Dhoni’s leadership. Dhoni left CSK’s captaincy before IPL 2024.

The fans can buy the ROAR’26 tickets on CSK’s official app and the franchise’s website. The tickets will go live on Sunday (March 15). The event timings and other details should be mentioned on the ticket.
CSK’s IPL 2026 schedule
Chennai Super Kings will kick off their IPL 2026 campaign against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on March 30 in an away fixture in Guwahati on March 30. They will play their first home game against Punjab Kings on April 3.
CSK will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in an evening fixture at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 5. They will return to host Delhi Capitals in another evening game on April 12. The BCCI has announced the schedule for the first 20 matches so far.
Ruturaj Gaikwad will return to lead the Yellow Army in IPL 2026. An elbow injury ruled him out of IPL 2025 after only five matches. Dhoni returned to the leadership group to lead the franchise.
