Thousands of users in the United States reported problems accessing Pinterest on Tuesday afternoon, according to outage tracking website Down Detector. At one point, more than 4,000 users had flagged issues on Down Detector, which compiles reports from users experiencing service disruptions. Many said they were seeing an error message reading: “user experience data retrieval failure”.
The message typically indicates that the app or website has been unable to retrieve account or feed information from Pinterest’s servers. Such errors are often linked to backend outages or temporary connection problems.
